Foreigners Everywhere !!

Hmmm....what constitutes foreign talent?? Mcdonalds workers? Drivers? Over the last year or so, I have seen more foreigners than Singaporeans. Its ridiculous. I went to an Indian restaurant and a China guy was taking my order. And he took it wrongly. It's been pissing off netizens lately and sparks a debate that the government is not looking into the best interest of Singaporeans.

I for one believe that soon there will no longer be Singaporeans. Its like 'Rojak' these days. I saw a woman from China stop by the traffic light and make her son pee in a bottle. I was about 20metres away and my friend wanted to puke after she kept the bottle in the pram instead of throwing it away.

The amount of 'foreign talent' is going to increase tremendously over the next few years and is going to piss more Singaporeans off. Our MM just announced that Singaporeans don't produce enough babies, it's plain simple. Life here is pathetic and expensive that we need to work more in order to not get squeezed.

Welcome to The Republic of Singapore, soon to have over 100 languages and the holder of the guinness book of records for the most races in a country !!!

  1. All that talk about foreign talent in Singapore is inevitably true to a certain extent. They are not only disgusting when it comes to their behaviour but at some point, are even snatching our career opportunities. Why is it so necessary to have a foreigner occupying the highest designations in companies? Our locals do possess equal talent. So much for the Government authorities saying that locals are given more priority than foreigners, especially when a foreigner like Charles Goodyear has been appointed as the CEO of Temasek.

  2. I personally believe it shouldn't be about foreigners vs locals..it should be abt who deserves it more and that can either be a foreigner or a local. But I agree that the standard of service quality has deteriorate as more foreigners are being employed who can't speak or understand english that well.

We have it much easier then lots of other countries where the population is much larger then ours and ppl competing for the opportunity is much higher. One reason for that is attributed to the fact that S'pore is the HQ of many MNC's thus demanding a larger workforce.
