Blogging, My Honest Opinion !

It's been about 10 weeks since my 1st post. I will not lie and this is my opinion. Personal blogging to many is fun and it's a 21st century way of throwing out your thoughts, but this time the whole is listening.Or are they? Over the weeks I have visited several blogs and read hundreds of posts, some of which exhibit exceptional language and are packed with passion and sentiments. But there were others that were just plain 'bullshit', actually there were a lot and may include mine.

Honestly, this blog was supposed to be criticizing Singapore and many other things. But due to the visibility and openness of the internet, things like political blogging and other stuff is not possible. Therefore, my thoughts are in my head and I share them with only close friends and family, definitely not on www.

Don't you think forums are better than blogs? I personally think so and its a place where everyone hears you more and no one knows each other. My favorite one is www.sammyboy.com. It's better than our local newspaper by miles and it's a one stop place instead of reading individual blogs.

It's also clear that blogs written by companies whether internal or external, have a lot more impact on the blogosphere than individual blogs. And then we have the suckers and posers of the blogging world who suck up to political parties and others, you know who you are. Blogging in this course has gotten me thinking that people blog and beg people to make comments. And are just hoping for more hits, half of which are their own because they visit their own blog 5 times a day. It's not like I did not do my own marketing for my blog because its all part of the process of getting hits and comments.

I may never blog again after this, but when I get my own business, a nice football forum would or something that would contribute to my business may do more justice. I have learnt a fair bit during this course and would definitely use several tools to link up and boost my business. But personal blogging is over for me. Over and out, Digital Media done !!

Another Amazing year for sport !!

The tiger is back, the champions league looks more exciting than ever, the NBA is moving into the playoffs, the F1 tables have turned and the Fed Express looks like he is getting back his form. Year on year less sleep for me and more adrenaline pumping through my veins.


Beginning with tonight's Champion league where the most luck team in the world Manchester look to defend their boring triumph. The premier league title race has just begun and the pressure is mounting on Man Utd. And it is some heavy pressure !! Then next week off to Shanghai for the Shanghai GP where I hope Massa and Kimi bounce back. The tiger just came back and won the Arnold Palmer Invitational and he looks greater than ever. !!


Its definitely going to be an awesome year, am I missing out on anything. Oh yeah, Cya Liverpool fan next month in Rome !!

America, Always Cleaning Other's Shit & Forgetting About Their Own !!

America, Oh, America, what are you up to. A few months back I watched a video by a famous Indian Economist, M.R Vanketesh. I was amazed by the simplicity of the video and yet the accuracy of his lecture. He spoke about the world being blinded by America's behaviour and currency. To the non-indians, his jargon may a bit too harsh, but listen clearly and you may laugh several times. The 56 odd minute video called 'Global Imbalance' is set in some part of India and in true fashion you can hear cars and busses horning in the background.

Watching the video and I realise that the shit has hit the fan and that corporate and greedy bastards have screwed the world over with their actions. Now what can Obama do? Being in power for few months now, Obama has got himself stuck in a hole. Usually when that happens, a rope is thrown in so that he can climb out. But this time, there is no rope and he has got to find a a way out himself.

I adore that man and his speeches, I think America is an amazing country but their actoins have gone to far this time. They go on to clean Iraq's mess, indirectly beg China to keep buying T-bills and tell others not to do this and that, but they have forgotten about their own mess. America has long been holding the world by its crotch and we have allowed this to happen !!

Foreigners Everywhere !!

Hmmm....what constitutes foreign talent?? Mcdonalds workers? Drivers? Over the last year or so, I have seen more foreigners than Singaporeans. Its ridiculous. I went to an Indian restaurant and a China guy was taking my order. And he took it wrongly. It's been pissing off netizens lately and sparks a debate that the government is not looking into the best interest of Singaporeans.

I for one believe that soon there will no longer be Singaporeans. Its like 'Rojak' these days. I saw a woman from China stop by the traffic light and make her son pee in a bottle. I was about 20metres away and my friend wanted to puke after she kept the bottle in the pram instead of throwing it away.

The amount of 'foreign talent' is going to increase tremendously over the next few years and is going to piss more Singaporeans off. Our MM just announced that Singaporeans don't produce enough babies, it's plain simple. Life here is pathetic and expensive that we need to work more in order to not get squeezed.

A smacking and a whipping !! From a true LFC fan ...

5 days have past and Man United fans are pretty silent. It's been peaceful and so thrilling to thump Alex Ferguson and his fagats. Nevertheless, I still think they just might win the league unless they screw up like they did last week. But did you see the faces of the Man Utd fans on Saturday. 4-1 is just disgraceful and it seemed that Liverpool were playing a division 2 side.

This post may piss several Man Utd fans, but I don't care. It's all about pissing them off. Moving into the last leg of the season, Man Utd will probably win the league but its's the thumping that they would want to erase from their mind. Vidic, undoubtly Man Utd's best player of the season was the villian and Ronaldo, their so called World Player of the year was a nobody in front of Stevie G. Not to forget Torres who mad a fool out of all of Man United's players with his sleek skills.

It's definately "You'll never walk alone" , and "Sorry Sorry Man United".........

My first week at APSN

Its been an enriching first week at APSN (Association for persons with special needs). Kids there have several disabilities such mild intellectual disabilities and down-syndrome amongst others. Its sad but a true fact of life. Being pretty good with kids, I was able to make many new friends and I have had kids calling my name "Mr Raj". Its quite cool to have 20 students say "Good Morning" to you at one time.

I just feel that the government is not doing enough to help these kids and just sweeping that below the carpet. It's a fact and today I have realized this. It's not enough to just give these kids a school. They need financial aid and time. Something that is not given to them at all. Most of these parents also come from poor families and try and make ends meet, thus not giving time to these kids who need more time than an ordinary child. I think many of us have been taking life for granted having not realized how lucky we are !! It's about time we do and help those who truly need help. I

Why do Men have Nipples ?

I was cleaning my cupboard and I came across this old book that was given to me as a gift. It answers hundreds of questions that some doctors can't answer. Questions like is sperm nutritious? Why do your teeth chatter when you are cold? Why are yawns contagious? Do oysters make you horny? Big hand, big _______? Will a shot of bourbon clear a cold? Why do you snore loud when you are drunk? Can you drink your own urine? Why do you have to pee when you hear water dripping? And hundreds more?

Its a really a cool book that was also a New York Times bestseller and it really does make you laugh in the train and then you get stares and people think you're another wacko !! Get the book but if you're a stingy bastard, then just get me to pass it to you !!

Singaporeans are just rude and lack f**ck*ing MANNERS !!

I think this is going to be one of those post in which everone is going to agree with me. Singaporeans all around us lack respect and manners. Blame it on their parent, teachers or ignorance, I don't care. Let me see, in the last 10 days, I can recall more than 10 indidents of disgusting behaviour.

1) Old man on bus keeping a seat for himself and his plastic bag on a bus.

2) People in the MRT not moving in to make way for others to enter.

3) Young boys poking fun at a SIKH man's turban.

4) Young man not letting a pregnant woman sit in the MRT.

5) Lorry driver turning into a double white line.

6) Old man peeing all over the toilet seat.

7) Malay boys shouting in the shopping centre as though it were their home.

8) Old Chinese Aunty spitting in Parkway Parade Shopping Centre.

9) People entering the MRT without letting people get out.

10) The tissue paper "book" table method at all eating outlets.

Let's see if you can think of anymore. These are just the few I have experienced. I think we can relook at our education system and parents priorities !!

2009 looks like a magnificent year at the theatres. With several movies already cancelled due to the "booming" economy in the Land of the Free, several movie-goers already are hoping some of these don't get cancelled or delayed. In no particular order:

A Liverpool Fan Fuming

What is wrong with this guy? Yesterday's transfer deadline saw him selling Robbie Keane after a 6 month spell. Now what the hell will Liverpool fans do if Torres gets injured. Rafa's ranting and mental behavior began 3 weeks back to Ferguson and has been making weird comments ever since. Yesterday he sold Keane after scoring just 7 goals making his worth 1.1million a goal. That's a whole lot of money for a goal !!! Now we just have to pray Torres and Gerrard stay fit for another 25 games. That's alot of prayers for a lot of us who believe God does not meddle with football..

Federer Gets A Spanish Spanking

What is wrong with this guy? I think he should retire at 28. Crying in front of millions of people and whining about not winning. Did you all see him sobbing? My 2nd favorite player (My 1st was Agassi) was shamed again in Australia by a guy who scratches his balls and ass. This is the third time in a row that the Fed Express has gotten whipped by the "balls scratcher" and if Federer does not regain his composure and psychological scare against Nadal, its the end of his carrer for sure this season.
