World Wide Rave ! It's Tiger Time !!

From the little dot called Singapore, comes one of the world's most famous beers, "Tiger". In conjunction with a module at the Singapore Management University run by Micheal Netzley, this post is written to hop onto the World Wide Rave.

A World Wide Rave is when people around the world are talking about you, your company, and your products. Whether you’re located in San Francisco, Dubai, or Reykjavík, it’s when global communities eagerly link to your stuff on the Web. It’s when online buzz drives buyers to your virtual doorstep. And it’s when tons of fans visit your Web site and your blog because they genuinely want to be there.

So, my colleague (Pei Ying) and I, decided to tell all alcohol lovers about the beer that has been winning countless awards globally. To Singaporeans, its either you love it or hate it. For me I'd just drink anything with alcohol.

Cool Fact 1: The amount of malt used to brew Tiger in 2006 is equivalent to the weight of 160 blue whales, the largest mammal on earth!Water enough to fill 94 Olympic-sized swimming pools has been used to brew Tiger since the beginning of this year.If all the Tiger pints brewed this year alone were stacked horizontally, they would circle the globe three-and-a-half times!

Cool Fact 2: Over 16 billion mugs of Tiger have been produced since the brand’s inception in 1932.If all the Tiger pints consumed since 1932 were stacked vertically, they would take you to the moon and back three times! In the last 74 years, over 3.5 billion litres of water, 424 million kg of malt, 191,354 kg of hops and 16,000 kg of yeast have been used to brew world-acclaimed Tiger.

Get a pint and quench your taste buds !!!
